About us
Designer Optics Optometrist, with a branch in Faerie Glen and Silver lakes, has been operating for more then 15 years in Pretoria East. We specialize in family optometry as well as onsite safety eyewear solutions.
Our optometrists visit industrial sites to conduct comprehensive eye examinations and make up safety spectacles adhering to the European DIN EN 166/169/170/172 safety standards, We issue a safety certificate with each pair of
spectacles made. Patients are also welcome to visit us in practice for their eye care consultation.
Product
Frames
We have a full range of safety frames in different sizes and styles. We usually make an appointment with the responsible person on site to narrow down the range for when we conduct the eye examinations and provide the frame choices to the employees.
Lenses
We are able to provide lenses in single vision, bifocal and multifocal. The refractive index will adhere to the safety standard applicable. The lenses can be made with or without a variable tint, and with or without an anti-reflective coating.
